This shocking footage, which first aired on America’s ABC television series, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, in October, 1985, shows crash tests conducted in Germany in the 1970s using live human participants. The tests were carried out to study the effects of whiplash, in both the lab and on real roads. Originally posted by adamstarpictures.
