As part of a new collaboration, TotalSim will adopt Altair Engineering’s HyperMesh, part of the HyperWorks suite, as its main geometry pre-processor for CFD. TotalSim UK will transition away from its incumbent solution and explore other tools within the HyperWorks suite.

“I have always held great admiration of TotalSim, it is an impressive technology company and Altair is excited by this collaboration. Having world class CFD experts deploy our pre-processing technology will further accelerate HyperMesh in this domain,” said Dr Royston Jones, executive VP European operations and global CTO.

Rob Lewis, MD, TotalSim UK, said, “We are looking forward to working with Altair to integrate HyperMesh into our process and to use its functionality to help us face a wide range of complex challenges.”
