Ambulance crash testing


The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has developed new crash test methods to help improve ambulance safety.
Part one in this seven-part video series from NIOSH provides viewers with an overview of the history of ambulance design, crash statistics, and three national ambulance standards.

In this second installment, NIOSH experts discuss how the results of ambulance crash testing have impacted future design and test techniques.
