Manufactured at the Sunderland facility, the Leaf demonstrates a new era of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing – powered by up to 20% renewable electricity as part of Nissan’s EV36Zero initiative.
At the heart of the Leaf’s production is Nissan’s Common Modular Family for electric vehicles (CMF-EV) platform – a flexible architecture that enables Nissan to build diverse EV models on a shared foundation. This platform delivers manufacturing precision and agility throughout the production process.
