SHOW NEWS: IAG to introduce FTIR exhaust analysis system

0

IAG Test Cell Technology will display its comprehensive range of exhaust analyzing systems for the development of engines at this year’s Automotive Testing Expo Europe. This will include its cutting-edge new FTIR measurement systems which provide precise, repeatable results.

IAG has also developed an automated system for repeatable positioning of exhaust probes. This system can be easily and cost effectively integrated into existing exhaust systems, and connection of the positioning system to the exhaust system requires one point only.

Guidance of the probe has been optimized concerning flow, and enables samples to be taken at real flow conditions. In addition to taking the gas sample, the design of the probe tip enables measurement of back pressure and the gas temperature as well. Flexible and user friendly software enables quick and easy setup of the corresponding parameters as well as integration in existing host systems.

IAG experts will be on hand at Automotive Testing Expo Europe on May 31-June 2, at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, at booth 1130.
