Chery Automobile broadcast live on October 24 the world’s first public chain rear-end collision test. This was carried out in the Chery Collision Safety Laboratory in China.

In the presence of experts from China’s national testing institutions and members of the media, two Chery Tiggo 7s and a heavy-duty truck performed an on-site simulation of a three vehicle chain rear-end collision accident.

The Chery Tiggo 7 travelled at 50km/h into the rear-end of the second Tiggo 7, sending it into the back-end of the heavy-duty truck at 26.2km/h.
