B&K has acquired Discom, an expert in the development of sound and vibration test systems, for acoustics quality analysis in end-of-line testing.

The acquisition of Discom, and its fully integrated and web-enabled production test solution, will fully support B&K’s testing processes, bringing on board new insights, domain knowledge and new opportunities.

Discom’s founder and MD Thomas Lewien said, “Being part of such an established, respected and global organization is one of the best things that could happen to Discom.

“For our customers, the acquisition is a guarantee of long-term availability and ongoing development of Discom’s end-of-line technology – and Brüel & Kjær’s worldwide support network will enable us to expand our reach, ensuring that our customers get fast, extensive and reliable support.”
