Anritsu’s emergency call (eCall) test environment, which uses an MD8475A hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulator, now supports 98% of conformance test cases for eCall communications modules.

As well as focusing on connected car test solutions like eCall with the MD8475A, Anritsu is also pushing forward with support for test environments and test cases for similar safety systems, like Russia’s ERA-GLONASS.

Meanwhile Anritsu has signed a collaboration agreement with Keycom under which Anritsu will become the exclusive distributor in the EMEA of the Keycom radar test system developed for verification of automotive radars.

Michael Spatny, general manager of Anritsu EMEA, said, “We are now integrating in our portfolio the radar test systems developed by Keycom, which is a technical leader in this specific segment, to be able to serve the car radar chip and modules suppliers who are becoming a key element of the ecosystem with the implementation of advanced safety systems in vehicles.”
