Sakor Technologies says it has developed a series of dynamometer systems for customers needing to test and verify the level of electric motor efficiency in accordance with a range of national and international standards.

The company states its new units can be used to measure the efficiency of two- to eight-pole motors ranging from 10W, all the way up to more than 3MW. Energy efficiency standards for electric motors are being put in place by various regulatory bodies across the world.

Sakor’s motor testing dynamometers are said to offer manufacturers an accurate testing capability of electric motors of any size, for use in a broad range of applications. Individual machines are capable of testing a wide range of motor sizes while maintaining necessary accuracy tolerances.
