Altair, a provider of computational science and artificial intelligence solutions, has revealed updates to its simulation portfolio, now called Simulation 2022.3. Building on the 2022.2 version, the latest iteration brings improvements in cloud collaboration and computing, end-to-end simulation workflows and design creation with AI-powered simulation.

For 2022.3, Altair has updated Altair One, the company’s cloud innovation gateway that enables customers to eliminate data silos, IT constraints and access barriers. Furthermore, Altair has added new digital thread workflows that connect Altair One and Altair HyperWorks – the company’s design and simulation platform. These changes will enable users to preview and modify models in addition to tracking data and accessing online libraries, among other things.

The new update also delivers the very latest end-to-end workflows and capabilities for Altair HyperMesh, Altair Inspire, Altair SimLab and others. Inspire Fluids can now be used to develop, modify and alter parts and assembly shapes that meet hydraulic design objectives. Following the revisions, Inspire supports the Linux user interface and provides new geometry creation tools.

Additional changes have also been made to electronic system design to enable customers to perform battery module modeling and thermal analysis of electrical systems with enhanced efficiency.
