Simulation and driving simulator company VI-grade will be showcasing its latest hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) solution for automotive applications at Automotive Testing Expo, Novi, Michigan, on October 25-27, 2022.

The AutoHawk solution utilizes the most advanced open Real Time Operating System (RTOS) currently available, powered by Concurrent Real-Time’s HiL technology. Through AutoHawk, VI-grade aims to address industry demand for a flexible solution which includes hardware, software and integration services to enable the cost-effective validation of a wide array of electronic control units.

“I am pleased to introduce our new, flexible HiL platform AutoHawk to the North American market at Automotive Testing Expo Novi,” said Dean Streck, director, North America, VI-grade. “The HiL market is critical for driving innovation and allowing us to leverage our core competencies and experience in driving simulation and simulators.

“Our vision is to build an integrated, virtual test approach with hardware-in the-loop being an essential component of the development process. This will enable our customers to decrease the number of physical prototypes throughout the entire development cycle and to ultimately achieve virtual sign-off.”

Available for the first time in North America, visitors to VI-grade’s booth will be able to experience AutoHawk for themselves. The company will also be showing its Desktop NVH Simulator and Desktop Simulator for Vehicle Dynamics applications at booth 2036. Furthermore, Dean Streck, the director for VI-grade North America will also lead a presentation on the AutoHawk solution on October 26 at 1:30pm.
