Instron’s 6800 and 3400 series of EM (electromechanical) systems have enhanced features such as smart-close air kit, collision mitigation and built-in safety coaching to make its test systems simpler, smarter and safer.

The 6800 series universal testing machines are designed to perform tensile, compression, flex, peel, puncture, friction, shear tests, and more. These servohydraulic/electric/electrodynamically driven systems boast industry-grade acoustic sensors and chambers to qualify a damper based on damping force as well as acoustic noise via user-friendly application software. The system is being demonstrated live at the expo to identify dampers that generate noise.

According to Syed Sadat, manager of business development, “Instron is uniquely positioned to accommodate the needs of battery testing labs all over the world with local support that can respond quickly and in the local language, providing our full suite of services, including installation, calibration, training, on-site machine upgrades and any service needs along the way to minimize downtime.

“Instron India is looking forward to meeting as many customers as we can reach out to as Automotive Testing Expo is a huge platform for such interaction.”
