Simulation software giants renew collaboration agreement

LinkedIn +

Simulation software companies Mechanical Simulation Corporation and AV Simulation have renewed their collaboration agreement, which is intended to provide an enhanced interface between the SCANeRStudio and CarSim, TruckSim and BikeSim packages.

This interface helps provide seamless integration for real-time software-in-the-loop, model-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop and driver-in-the-loop simulations.

Mechanical Simulation Corporation develops software that can simulate the dynamic behavior of cars, trucks and motorcycles for engineers developing vehicle dynamics and system level controllers, and developing and testing ADAS and autonomous driving technologies.

SCANeRStudio develops driving simulation packages for automotive driver assistance systems, autonomous and connected vehicles and ergonomics.

CarSim and SCANeRStudio are used by major OEMs and suppliers, and work both with high-performance driving simulators and standalone software-in-the-loop applications. Both software tools have standard interfaces to MATLAB/Simulink.
