What are the current trends in your sector of the automotive industry at the moment?
The development of autonomous driving and the increasing implementation of ADAS presents new requirements in terms of in-vehicle communication and the connected car, which will be part of the Internet of Things. This requires a reliable, secure and safe network architecture with high flexibility and bandwidth.
What will a vehicle system architecture look in future?
Whatever the architecture is, in any case safety and security of this communication network is a key challenge. This has to be guaranteed with sophisticated and flexible testing technology, both upfront as well as during the lifetime of the vehicle via updates and upgrades. We can provide our expertise in the development of high-speed connectivity solutions as a basis for the future requirements of network architectures with higher bandwidth.
What technology will you be displaying at the show?
We will present our high-end connectivity products such as our Y-Circ P Push-Pull connectors. Those are available in various sizes, pin counts and with mixed layouts for signal and power or high-speed data transmission. We provide all-in-one solutions with complete cable assemblies for easy plug-and-test with a broad range of standard input/output connectors such as USB, RJ45 etc. Additionally, our portfolio includes internal connectors for standard applications but also high-speed internal data transmission or the connection of graphic boards.
