SHOW NEWS: LMS launches SoundBrush software

Automotive Testing Expo Europe exhibitor LMS is showcasing its SoundBrush software, which is a new patented acoustic troubleshooting solution. It's an easy-to-use, complete tool that enables engineers to map sound propagation around an object and localise acoustic sources.

SoundBrush makes sound visible. LMS claims it is the first technology ever to visualise sound fields in 3D while measuring. At the heart of the solution is the patented optical tracking technology, combined with either a sound pressure microphone or a 3D intensity sensor. LMS SoundBrush can be moved freely around the test object in any orientation or position.

Plug-and-play connections ensure that no time is lost setting up the system, nor is there is any need for calibration or post-processing of data. Supplied with detailed real-time results, users can fully focus on the core task: solving the acoustic problem.

Key to fast and accurate acoustic troubleshooting is the refined intuitive software. It supports logic handling, from setup to reporting, and provides real-time visualisation of results in 3D.

Automotive Testing Expo Europe
takes place 4-6 June, at Messe Stuttgart, Germany. Visitors can find LMS on stand 1700.
