ZF to develop suspension tech for Venturi Formula E team

ZF Friedrichshafen has entered into a long-term technology partnership with the Venturi Formula E team to compete in the FIA Formula E electric racing series. From the start of the 2016/17 season, ZF will provide Venturi with suspension technology and components, simulation and testing resources.

Under the partnership the two will design and develop a completely new driveline that encompasses electric motor, inverter and transmission, and a suspension system.

Gildo Pallanca Pastor, Venturi Formula E team owner, commented, “We are very proud to have gained ZF as our technology partner as we look to undertake this serious challenge to gain FIA Formula E honors.”
