Virginia Panel Corporation’s iCon rack and panel connector, which is able to mate up to 320 signal contacts, was designed specifically for test and measurement applications.

The success of this product over its 10-year history led to the development of even smaller product variants to meet customer needs, which now make up VPC’s lower I/O connector lineup known as iSeries.

“The iCon was developed with the intent to support our existing customers with a ‘smaller footprint’ for their testing needs,” said VPC president Sandy Stowers. “The iCon accepts the same contacts and uses the same tooling as our larger systems, thereby reducing cost and utilizing common parts.”
