Uber self-driving car involved in serious accident in Arizona

A serious car crash in Arizona has brought a halt to Uber’s self-driving car program. The accident happened in Tempe when the autonomous car was somehow flipped on its side. Damage was caused including a large dent and the windows were smashed. Although no-one was seriously injured, Uber is conducting a thorough inquiry into the crash involving the Volvo SUV. According to Tempe police, another vehicle failed to give way at a traffic signal while making a left turn and collided with the Uber vehicle, before a third vehicle was hit.
