SHOW NEWS: Two new data loggers make show debut

Race Technology brought several new products to Automotive Testing Expo Europe for their world debuts. The first was a new mount for the company’s popular GPS/inertial systems, which eases fitment to cars with non-metal roofs by replacing the conventional magnets with suction mounts for use on a rear window.

Two dataloggers were also new: the DL1 PRO, a waterproof datalogger suitable for long-term data collection applications; and the DL2, which features a new casing and is faster and easier to install thanks to the use of standard D-type connectors. The DL2 can be screwed directly to Race Technology’s Speedbox speed measurement system and can connect to the DASH4 PRO display to create a setup for brake testing and chassis dynamics work.

“Europe is one of our biggest markets and we sell to most of the major OEMs, so if we’re going to launch new products, this is the place to do it,” said director, Martin Hill.
