SHOW NEWS: Race Technology extends Dash4Pro functionality

Race Technology is to demonstrate the recently upgraded features in its Dash4Pro system at Automotive Testing Expo Europe. This year’s new features include a direct CAN input option enabling connection directly to a CAN bus or ECU to decode and display data.

With loading from DBC files and a fully configurable graphics display it’s easy to see the information needed, on any of the four screens of data.

The system comes complete with tools for viewing raw CAN data to assist troubleshooting and reverse engineering. It can display all variables at 20, 50, 100, 125, 160, 250, 500kbps or 1,000 (1Mbit) baud rates, as well as all raw CAN at selected baud rate. Data baud rates can then be quickly checked, and individual messages scrolled through, and incoming addresses, frequency and raw data values can also be viewed live.

The Dash4Pro can now also be used to set up and display Speedbox triggered tests, as well as automatically displaying system warnings (for example memory remaining, GPS status).

Race Technology will be exhibiting at booth 1445.
