SHOW NEWS: New FTIR exhaust analysis system from IAG

LinkedIn +

Head to IAG Test Cell Technology’s stand to learn more about its latest exhaust analysis systems used in the development of engines. These systems are simple and safe to use and inexpensive to maintain. This includes its new FTIR analysis system, which provides fast reaction times and precise, repeatable measurement results.

IAG has developed a revolutionary system for the automatic repeatable positioning of exhaust probes. It is simple to integrate into existing exhaust systems. Probes available in small dimensions ensure the lowest possible influence on the flow conditions. Connection of the positioning system to the exhaust system requires only one point. Guidance of the probe has been optimized for flow and enables engineers to take samples in real flow conditions. In addition to the gas sample, the design of the probe tip enables testers to measure back pressure and the gas temperature. Corresponding parameters can be set quickly and easily in the flexible and user friendly software and integrated into existing host systems.

One possible application could be the measurement of the uniform distribution of urea over the cross section of SCR catalyst systems.

IAG’s experts will be on hand at booth 1130 to discus further questions and applications at Automotive Testing Expo Europe from May 31 to June 2.
