Sakor appoints new director of business development

Bob McFarland has been appointed as director of business development at Sakor Technologies, a provider of instrumentation for dynamometer testing.

McFarland is a proven technical and strategic planning leader with more than 40 years of business and product development experience for test automation companies. He has been granted numerous instrumentation and control patents.

He joins Sakor from CyberMetrix where he served as director of business and product development for the Indiana, USA, firm. He previously served for over five years as director of product management and strategic planning at Digalog, and for more than 25 years as founder, president and CEO of Digalog Corp, a manufacturer of control and instrumentation products and systems used in automotive testing.

“I am thrilled to welcome Bob to Sakor, where I know he will use his years of experience in technology development and commercialization to bring our products and systems to an even wider market,” said Randal Beattie, president of Sakor. “I am confident Bob will have a tremendously positive impact on Sakor’s success.”
