S-E-A begins construction of new world headquarters

Construction is now underway for the new S-E-A research campus in Ohio, USA. The four buildings, which are scheduled to open in late spring or early summer 2016, cover an area of nearly 110,000ft2.

Housed there will be state-of-the-art testing facilities for a number of industries. That includes vehicle testing laboratories; a chemical laboratory; materials/metallurgy laboratory; indoor vehicle testing equipment including a specialized vehicle minor impact and roll simulator; an electrical laboratory; and other facilities. Currently, 125 staff are based there, but S-E-A plans to hire an additional 30 over the next three years.

Jason Baker, CEO of S-E-A, said, “We are very proud that the reputation of the firm and our worldwide client growth has provided the catalyst for us to look into a bright future to build a new S-E-A headquarters. This campus will immediately satisfy existing client needs and enable us to accommodate unforeseen future requests for product testing, failure analysis, fire investigation and research.”

More details coming soon.
