Russian certification lab selects Anritsu’s signalling tester

Certification lab Polinom, accredited by NAMI (the Russian institute for automobile and engine research and development) and the Russian government, has selected Anritsu’s ERA-GLONASS testing solution.

ERA-GLONASS provides quick emergency support after a traffic accident using a wireless communication network. As of January 2017, all new car models released in Russia must be equipped with IVS which supports ERA-GLONASS. For ERA-GLONASS IVS verification, the certification test in the designated lab referring GOST R 55530-2013 defined by the Russian government, is required.

The ERA-GLONASS test system is used with the MD8475A Signalling Tester and MX703330E-031 MSD ERA GLONASS software.
