Revolutionary range extended truck prototype on test

LinkedIn +

A new range extended electric truck and bus prototype is being put through its paces at Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK. The system is designed to deliver ultra low emissions at far lower operating costs than fossil fuel equivalents.

Developed by Charge R&D, an internationally funded but UK-based high technology company, the new platform is designed to be used in trucks and buses from 2 to 26 tonnes gross weight.

The endurance testing program that is using this first prototype, which will be followed by several others this year, is designed to evaluate major components and the fuel efficiency of the range extended electric concept truck.
