GOM has introduced a new sensor for full-field digitization and inspection of contoured part geometries in its ATOS series.

The fringe projection system, which can be used for quality assurance of small to medium-sized parts, is extremely precise. In addition to surface deviations from CAD, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is produced automatically.

The ATOS capsule combines GOM’s blue light technology and triple scan principle, with a cutting-edge housing design that provides optimum protection against dust and water.

Two versions are available to capture either 8 or 12 million points per scan with changeable measuring areas.
