Next-generation EtherCAT-based analog measurement module

CSM has introduced its new EtherCAT-based analog measurement module ECAT ADMM 4 HighSpeed800 and new easy-to-use data acquisition software CSMmeasure, which it will present at Automotive Testing Expo China in September.

In CSMmeasure, with just a few clicks the software leads the user from configuration to visualization of the measurement results. It supports data rates up to 800kHz per channel. Additionally, CSMmeasure records video and GPS data.

With four synchronous inputs the module is ideal for precise acquisition of signal curves from combustion engines, electric motors and electric auxiliary systems. Thanks to its high protection class IP67 and the operating temperature from -40°C to +125°C the module can be mounted directly in engine compartments. This reduces noise to an absolute minimum.

CSM’s CAN-based high-voltage measurement modules enable safe A/D and temperature measurement at HV components in electric and hybrid vehicles. Thanks to the reinforced insulation up to 800V and the multi-level safety concept, tested and approved by an accredited test lab according to EN 61010 safety standard, the modules guarantee safe measurement in extreme test environments.
