CSA Group has opened a new and unique environmental testing facility at its Montreal facility in Canada. This laboratory is composed of two unique pieces of equipment: an Envirotronics AGREE environmental chamber for temperature and humidity testing, and an electrodynamic shaker for vibrations testing.

The facility provides the capability to test large humidity (10-98 RH%) and temperature ranges (-70˚C/+180˚C), with an exceptional temperature rate variation that can go up to 30˚C/min.

The Brüel & Kjær LDS electrodynamic shaker is capable of up to 8,000lbf and has the unique ability to handle up to a 3in displacement between 0-3,000Hz.

CSA will now be able to offer combined vibration, humidity and temperature testing.
