New data acquisition software package launched by CSM

CSM has introduced its new data acquisition software, vMeasure CSM, along with the CSMcan CAN interface.

vMeasure CSM, developed by CSM’s partner Vector Informatik, is a tailor-made measurement and visualization tool for CSM’s CAN- and EtherCAT-based measurement modules.

CSMcan provides fast measurement data transfer from CAN to USB. CSM distributes the vMeasure CSM data acquisition tool, among others, in a bundle with CSMcan and will thus be able to offer complete measurement chains in the future.

vMeasure CSM is a powerful tool for the users of CSM measurement technology. The software supports measurement data rates of up to 800kHz and the in-sync acquisition of large numbers of measurement signals. It is also easy-to-use. With just a few clicks, the software guides the user from the configuration of the measurement modules to the acquisition and visualization of the measurement data.

With multi-channel applications it is possible to read synchronously more than 1,000 measurement signals from different sources. To facilitate further processing, measurement data is stored in a standardized MDF format. In order to illustrate causal links on road trials, the data can be synchronously linked to video, GPS and map data (for example, OpenStreetMap).
