LTG AG is displaying its new Fahrtwind-Simulator, which is adapted to the latest regulations and international guidelines; the new system meets the requirements of the WLTP cycle (Worldwide Harmonized Light Duty Test Procedure).

Simulation of airflow of up to 135km/h is possible, but the outlet velocity is evenly distributed over the entire outlet area, providing maximum precision. Proven features such as electric height adjustment and mobility have been retained in the new system’s design. Thanks to their compactness and ease of handling, the mobile units can be used in many different locations. Special customized versions of the system are also available for many applications and wider simulation ranges.

For more than 15 years, LTG has been equipping auto manufacturers and suppliers worldwide with its Fahrtwind-Simulators. These proven units with tangential fan technology are characterized in particular by their even airflow and space-saving design. They help to obtain reproducible, comparable, and realistic measuring results, and today are an indispensable part of any effective dynamometer. The company can be found on booth 3051 at Automotive Testing Expo Korea 2015.
