Nicknamed The Weather Factory, the ETC, which is located at the Blue Oval’s John Andrews Product Development Centre in Merkenich, Cologne, saw a US$81.7m investment. Housing three climatic wind tunnels, conditions from high humidity, rain, snow, through to high and low temperatures, as well as altitude and wind, can all be replicated inside.
