HBM introduces advanced miniature rosette strain gauge

The new RF9 miniature rosette strain gauge from HBM is suitable for measurements on printed circuit boards, small components, or applications with limited space.

This company system features a three-stacked measurement grid, which is only 5mm in size, enabling it to determine a bi-axial stress state with unknown principal stress direction in confined spaces.

It is also easy to connect and pre-wired with color-coded enamelled copper wires, eliminating the need for fiddly soldering on the strain gauge.
