The investment in the new site facilitates the expansion of Exova’s testing capacity and capabilities, enabling it to continue to provide customers with a range of technically demanding services and consultancy.

John Willox, group MD in the products division, Exova, commented, “This is a significant moment for the Exova business. We are the leading provider of technical excellence in testing for a wide range of household names within these industries and the new site is a consolidation of our expertise.”

Work undertaken at the site will include testing of automotive trim, components and full vehicles for corrosion, UV weathering, environmental aging, flammability, vibration and emissions. The site will initially employ 32 people, a figure which is expected to increase in the first 2 years.
