In a strategic business move, GIF, a leading service provider of drivetrain testing, will now trade under the name Atesteo. Its legal entity remains unchanged and therefore so will all essential company details.

The company is known in particular for its testing of transmission units, and its range of services has continuously been expanded to meet customer demands for the testing of brakes and exhaust systems. Atesteo conducts testing under accredited conditions in Germany and China, and also has subsidiaries in Japan and the USA.

“Reducing CO₂ emissions is a mega-trend within the automotive industry. Our company contributes by testing transmissions and hybrid drivetrains that help in reducing fuel consumption. We therefore doubled our capacity in the growing Chinese market last year,” added Dr Georg Bletschacher, CFO of Atesteo.
