Compact data acquisition sensor from DTS

Gathering kinematic data for research and engineering validation is now easier and more accurate with the 6DX PRO from DTS. Designed specifically for occupant dynamics and human injury assessment, the 6DX PRO is possibly the smallest, high shock 6DOF sensor available.

The tiny, low mass sensor makes it possible to collect 6DOF data in locations that weren’t previously accessible. Accurate 6DOF data from locations not visible to high-speed imaging means better understanding of kinematics.

The three angular rate sensors (18,000 or 50,000deg/sec) accurately deliver position data, while the three accelerometers (2,000 or 20,000g) are rated for high impact environments. Installation is easy with the 19 x 19 x 14.5mm enclosure that weighs only 12g. Plus the 6DX PRO is sealed and IP67 rated, making it ideal for PMHS testing.

The 6DX PRO is delivered calibrated, it’s repairable if damaged and it meets NHTSA, FAA, ISO 6487 and SAE J211 recommended practices.
