CATARC and SMVIC order sled test facility from Messring

The Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (SMVIC) and the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) each recently ordered a Compact Impact Simulator (CIS) from Messring.

The CIS sled test system provides the ability to test vehicle components such as seatbelts, seats or airbags with minimal space in an accurate and reproducible process. The space required for a complete system only measures 39.6m2 (18 x 2.2m).

Only four months after receiving the order, the first system is already on its way to China from Europe. Messring had pre-manufactured the sled test system and was therefore able to cut delivery time considerably.
