AVL develops flexible emissions test automation tool

AVL has developed a new emissions test automation system for chassis dynamometers that now has new application packages for hybrid testing and for compliance with EPA 1066, GTR-15 and RDE testing.

AVL iGEM Vehicle offers flexibility for different testbed configurations and different user needs. The software enables fully automated procedures in the preparation of measurement devices for testing, calibration and checks. It provides simple and effective integration of new measurement devices using device abstraction and an extensive driver library. It also offers valid emission test certification packages covering all current standards including hybrid and EPA 1066 as well as GTR-15. It features efficient tools for creating customized test cycles and test applications.
