Instrumentation, analysis and testing exhibition to take place in April at Silverstone Circuit, UK

The Engineering Integrity Society’s Instrumentation, Analysis and Testing exhibition will be held on April 2, 2019, at the UK’s Silverstone Circuit.

This year’s theme is ‘Bridging the gap between the virtual and physical worlds’. Throughout the day there will be eight presentations, covering a wide range of topics from well-respected engineers across several different sectors. The keynote speaker is Ian Jones from Airbus, whose presentation is titled The route towards Smarter Testing of Aircraft Structures. There will also be a series of mini seminars.

The event, which will take place in in Hall 3, overlooking the race track, has been running for more than 30 years and has grown significantly in recent years. It is aimed at companies and individuals with an interest in engineering involving measurement, analysis, testing and prediction. Relevant sectors include automotive, aerospace, motorsport, rail, off-highway, mechanical handling, civil engineering, industrial and power generation.

Attendance is free and visitors receive complimentary refreshments and free parking. In addition, for 2019, all visitors have the chance to win tickets to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
