To cater for the growth in ADAS demand and to build-up its engineering might, Magna Electronics is to hire around 300 new engineers in Timisoara, Romania. The team will support the company’s 14 other global electronics facilities and will focus on the development of future systems, algorithm and software development, for solutions including automated highway driving, park assist and surround view, to name a few.

“Expanding our capacity in Timisoara, an area that is known for its strong electronics engineering network, will help us accelerate Magna’s overall ADAS capabilities and time to market. We expect the contributions of this team to be immediate and are looking forward to getting started,” said Sharath Reddy, senior vice president, Magna Electronics.

To source talent, Magna is working with an external recruiter. It estimates that the process of building up the team will take until the end of 2025. For further information on the available roles in Timisoara and how to apply click here.
