Electronic test and measurement equipment specialist Electro Rent has opened a new facility in Mechelen, Belgium, providing logistics, office and laboratory services.
The large facility on the Malines Intercity Business Park is a result of significant investment by Electro Rent and provides the brand with greater capacity to enhance its service offering for a growing customer base across EMEA. This facility supports the brand’s journey toward providing a single-source solution for the test equipment needs of its customers.
The company is already building on OEM partnerships with recent distribution agreements to sell equipment from Keysight Technologies, Tektronix and Keithley.
“This expansion of our facilities in Belgium will enable us to enhance the service we offer and meet the growing needs of customers from industries that include aerospace, data centers, defense, electrification, semiconductor/AI, 5G, energy and telecommunications,” said Leo Dukker, VP of operations.
The new hub complements a second European logistics hub, offices and laboratory facilities in the UK. Additionally, local office contacts are also present across Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe.
