SHOW NEWS: New vehicle testing sensor line-up from Hitec

Head to booth 5006 at Automotive Testing Expo 2017 in Novi, Michigan where Hitec Sensor Developments will introduce a new range of vehicle test sensors.

The innovate designs can measure a variety of wheel, window, steering and break forces, as well as sliding door and drift angle measurements for automotive test applications.

Thanks to the multi-axis wheel force sensor developed by the US company, the design can measure all dynamic forces and moments on the wheel with reference to the vehicle coordinate system.

The 77016 series features three primary components: the wheel sensor, which measures all six forces and moments; the rotating electronics package, which measures angular position and converts the force and torque vectors into a non-rotating frame of reference; as well as the stationary electronics package which ‘unpacks’ the data from the sensor into individual analog signals.

Automotive Testing Expo 2017 in Novi, Michigan takes place on October 24-26, 2017.
