At Automotive Testing Expo North America, ETS Solutions has unveiled plans to release a new, advanced silicon carbide (SiC) amplifier. This completely redesigned system builds upon the company’s existing amplifier technology but benefits from the smaller size and enhanced reliability of SiC. Notably, the new amplifier can deliver 120kVa of power in the same amount of space as was previously required for 60kVa.
“Our amplifier offers a higher power density than any other system,” said Matt Millard, eastern region sales manager at ETS Solutions NA. “It’s generations ahead of the competition, featuring a high-frequency 1MHz sampling protection circuit that safeguards the amplifier from damage.”
In addition, ETS Solutions has developed a new eco-friendly shaker that uses IoT technology to optimize amplifier efficiency and enable the integration of multiple systems.
Millard explained, “Battery cycling systems and other chambers can now be connected. By integrating everything into one software environment, all systems can be monitored and controlled, which reduces energy consumption.”
