Test equipment supplier Link has announced a purchase agreement with Tescor Inc. The deal, which is expected to be finalized by the end of the month, comes after the climatic testing equipment provider worked in support of Link’s chassis dynamometer business.

Thanks to Tescor’s expertise in surface calorimeters, condensers, heater cores, oil coolers and charge air coolers, the acquisition will enable Link to increase its surface portfolio.

Adam Link, technical director at Link, spoke about the deals potential. “The acquisition of Tescor is well aligned with our long-term strategic business plan, allowing us to expand our reach beyond our current products and customers,” he said.

Jacques Boudin, owner of Tescor, said, “Tescor and Link share a common engineering pedigree and culture, which makes us a natural fit. We are very excited to be part of the Link family of companies.”

Link Engineering Company will be at Automotive Testing Expo in Novi at booth 4003. Make sure you visit the show, which takes place October 24-26.
