August Wu appointed new Polestar China president

August Wu has been appointed as the new president of Polestar China, reporting to company CEO Thomas Ingenlath.

Wu joins from Volvo Cars in Shanghai, China, where he was head of product and offer for the APAC region. In this role, he was responsible for local products, specification, pricing and vehicle line management. Prior to this, he worked for Volvo in Sweden as business program leader for the Volvo 60 cluster of cars.

Wu will act as a commercial offer in China and will work on the development of the Polestar retail environment, as well as increasing brand awareness in the Chinese market.
