Continual, a provider of connected car and subscriber mobility experience analytics, has become a member of the 5G Open Innovation Lab. This global ecosystem aims to connect developers in the realm of 5G tech. It gives them access to open platforms, enterprises and markets needed to create, test and deploy new use cases and innovations for 5G. Continual has been selected as one of 15 companies to join the 5G Open Innovation Lab’s Spring 2021 program.
“Joining the 5G Open Innovation Lab will allow us not only to collaborate more closely with our existing partners like Microsoft and Amdocs, but also to forge new relationships with organizations with technology that is complementary to our mobility experience analytics. We look forward to a rewarding exchange of ideas with other members, and to proving our technology with new 5G use cases and in new markets,” said Greg Snipper, CEO of Continual.
Enterprises, carriers, government and technology leaders can work together with startups on the research and development of new 5G capabilities at the 5G Open Innovation Lab. The facilities enable developers to more quickly create proof-of-concepts and test and deploy products, and to share and license research and technology with others in their cohort.
Jim Brisimitzis, general partner of the 5G Open Innovation Lab, said, “We invited Continual to join our Lab program because of the innovative approach of their AI-based mobility experience solution and the excellent business benefits they have demonstrated for their customers. The program focuses on developing the software ecosystem for 5G and edge computing, and on achieving real outcomes by promoting industry engagements.
“By adding new members like Continual, we can further help our partners to deliver value to their customers through digital transformation, while at the same time strengthening the leadership positions of all the ecosystem members and partners.”
