Job Summary

Millbrook Revolutionary Engineering (MRE) designs, produces, installs and services dynamometer test systems. As a system integrator we offer our world-wide customers a specific solution according to his individual specification. MRE also offers testing services to meet the most rigorous client testing needs.

For our European office in Bremen, Germany, our Business Development Team is looking for relationship builders. You will be responsible for winning new and repeat business within the Automotive, Agriculture, Marine and Aerospace industries, while protecting and growing existing revenue and safeguarding profit margins. You will be responsible for implementing the company’s sales strategy, meeting the demands of all stakeholders – customers, employees, suppliers and investors.

 

Role Responsibilities

·         Work closely with prospective and existing customers to identify, extract and close business development opportunities

·         Build a detailed understanding of the customer, markets (Europe and abroad) and competitors

·         Build coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets

·         Work closely with the Applications Team to ensure the production of effective quotation documentation for submission at your request

·         Follow each opportunity through to completion through close liaison with the customer

·         Act in accordance with the behaviors for MRE staff at all times

·         Become fully conversant with the company’s CRM system and use as directed.

·         Represent the business on specific industry focus groups as and when required.

·         Work with the business units to develop new revenue streams previously not employed

 

Criteria

Experience

·         Sales/business development experience within automotive sector (preferred)

·         Automotive and/or transport industry experience

·         Accomplished sales experience with a variety of large clients

Skills

·         Building and maintaining customer relationships

·         Analytical, using authority and judgement

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels

·         Excellent presentation skills

·         High level communication and negotiation skills

·         Good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Problem solving

·         Knowledge of current technologies employed in the Automotive sector with a keen desire to maintain and grow that knowledge
