Renault Megane E‑Tech outfitted with Compredict’s virtual sensors streamlines validation workflows
Compredict is at the expo showcasing Compredictor, its demo vehicle featuring software‑defined sensing, with real‑time virtual sensor outputs up to 100Hz via standard CANbus, with no extra ECUs or data links. Offering comprehensive parameters, including wheel forces, tie‑rod loads, driveshaft torque, tire and brake wear, robust calibration, seamless integration into existing vehicle compute architectures and more, Compredictor is already in series production with Renault Group. Head of virtual sensors, Martin Zeller, commented, “Exhibiting Compredictor lets us demonstrate how virtual sensors turn every series vehicle into a rolling test lab”.

Instron exhibits video game-like simulator developed in collaboration with IAMT and Siemens
The star of Instron’s booth is a simulator developed alongside IAMT and Siemens. According to representative Felix Kleine, it is akin to a video game where users drive on a digital road with a steering wheel – “the digital input of the bumpy road is transmitted to our controller and to a small axle test stand. A model car on the axle test stand is shaken by the driver’s digital input and tested on this road. We want to illustrate how our product works in an easy-to-understand and interactive way.”

FAKT expands portfolio to include hydrogen component testing, motorsport brake testing and more
FAKT is at this year’s expo displaying products certified to ISO IEC 17025. Aside from state-of-the-art test benches for measuring brake dust emissions under GTR 24/Euro 7 standards, FAKT has added testing services for hydrogen components in compressed high-pressure tanks with NWP up to 700 bar or complete hydrogen vehicles. The company can perform a range of evaluations including bursting tests, fire resistance evaluations and crash behavior analyses. The portfolio also includes climate tests in a large climate chamber for complete vehicles and cybersecurity testing to ensure compliance with the latest safety standards.

New data-driven crash test devices from DTS enhance safety and efficiency
DTS is showing dynamic testing solutions to address the growing complexity of crash testing, from Global NCAP standards to NEVs and modeling. This includes the DTS FMVSS305, a new high-voltage recorder for EV testing that captures voltage data, as well as the DTS Slice Pro distributor which streamlines operations for engineers managing high-channel-count tests. The FMVSS305 captures data including vital HV1 and HV2 measurements before and after impact. Meanwhile, Slice Pro remotely controls signal integration, communication and power distribution for up to 820 high-speed data channels.
