Automobili Lamborghini has named Andrea Costantini as its new quality director. With over 20 years of experience in various roles at the Italian supercar manufacturer, Costantini brings deep knowledge of the company and its operations, making him well-suited for the position. Costantini steps into his new role after six months of training and job shadowing at Audi’s quality assurance department in Germany.
After earning a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Bologna, Costantini began his automotive career at VM Motori and Aprilia before joining Automobili Lamborghini in 2002. Over the past two decades, he has steadily taken on greater responsibilities in production.
From 2002 to 2004, he oversaw industrialization and technology for the new Gallardo assembly line. He then played a key role in establishing Lamborghini’s first Pre-Series Center (PSC) while managing the industrialization of new models. In 2006, Costantini took direct charge of production, first leading vehicle assembly lines before becoming head of production, where he was responsible for final product approval. Since 2021, he has also served as head of manufacturing engineering.
