The company’s fault insertion switch modules can simulate all possible electrical short and open circuits (which could occur because of corrosion, age, damage or even faulty installation), apply erroneous sensor data and capture the ECU reaction to see if a design works as defined. Other PXI instrumentation modules range from the highest-density switching matrices, RF/microwave and optical switching to sensor simulation, including programmable resistors, strain gauges, and battery and thermocouple simulators – all supported by application software (including Switch Path Manager for signal routing) and drivers, plus connectivity and cabling solutions.
