South Korean AI data company Aimmo has branched out globally, opening a Canadian office in the startup hub YSpace Markham, just outside Toronto. The office will act as the company’s North American base to bring Aimmo’s data operations services to local markets.
With its services aimed at accelerating and streamlining data operations in the autonomous driving and smart city industries, Aimmo says demand for its capabilities is growing, with clients across Asia and Europe. The company has been engaged by some of Japan’s largest heavy machinery manufacturers and is now applying its annotation formatting experience to seven major projects in the field of industrial safety.
